Yet another short week due bad weather!
This week we worked on the letter "F" and the sight word "to." In math the students have been working on decomposing (breaking apart) numbers. An example of this was shaking and spilling a cup of 6 double sided "coins" and seeing how many are red and how many are yellow. Students were then making math sentences, such as, "4 red and 2 yellow make 6."
We have also now finished up our inquiry around volcanoes and look forward to learning about something new. So stay tuned!
